Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to say that I hope all you mums out there had a terrific day yesterday and that your kids spoilt you and made you feel like queens (even though you should feel that way every day, if you have kids or not). My darling 13 year old son Spencer made me breakfast in bed, and what a breakfast it was!!! Toasted English muffin with smoked salmon, poached egg and Hollandaise sauce!!! YUMMY!!!!
He did such a good job, so proud of my boy. Spen and his sister Samantha (along with my husband David), gave me a bottle of Vera Wang perfume, Princess, smells divine and I love the bottle...

They spent the rest of day looking after me and making sure I relaxed. I am a very lucky lady indeed. I love my family so very much xxx

I also have to share with you my two new loves...

First my boots, yes I know that may seem strange to some of you, but when you have been over weight most of you adult life and had fat calves like me finding boots that fit those calves is not easy! I love boots but could never find any that fit so when I tried these on and they fit, I GOT THEM!! I love them!!!!! And a bonus was they have given me that boot (excuse the pun) up the bum I needed to get back into my weight lose journey again, been a bit slack I'm afraid! Haven't gained weight but haven't lost any either since January and I do still have about 20-30kg to get rid of!

And second of all, I wanted to share my latest knitting/crochet project with you...

My wonderful sister Diane bought this pattern for off and sent it as a mother's day gift. Stephanie Dosen is the talented young lady who posted the pattern and I have admired it for months. So I got straight to work and made it in about 4 days. I LOVE IT!!! So comfy and frilly and fun. I have even started my second one in teal colour. Thank you Diane for the gift and thank you Stephanie for a stunning pattern.
