Yesterday was a big day for Samantha, we had to take her to see a pediatrition because of her weight. Being a prem baby, 10 weeks early, she is always going to be small, but Dr's are concerned with how small she is the moment, she is 9kg and 22 months old. If she gets sick she has nothing to fall back on so we are going to see if we can get her weight up. We now have to take her to a dietiton who will probably recommend a high calorie diet for her and as she had blood tests taken yesterday they are going to see if her thyroid is working ok and if it is a geneitc thing. She did really well with them taking blood we thought she would scream the place down as she was tired and hungry, but she didn't even cry! She just gave the ladies evil looks, but then who can blame her. Our big (but small) brave girl! David and I think its is just how she is, she takes after her dad, David eats and eats and is still skinny (yes I know we all want to swear and call him names don't we), she's lucky not to have her mother's build!! I just need to look at food and I gain weight!!!!Buying clothes for her is not easy as size 0 and 1 are to big around the waist but anything smaller is to short for her, so I do a lot of taking in with her pants and skirts! A few stitches here and there and things stop falling down!Sam just afer her birth.....
Sam now....
I will keep you up to date with how things go.

Hi Pauline. You are probably right, it's just that she's got David's metabolism (if only). They don't half worry you though don't they? From the day they are born - it's constant! But still, we wouldn't have it any other way, would we? :-)
That girl is so precious, we have to take good care of her, and her just as precious bro, too. D. xxxx
