The Bike

Spencer is over the moon, he can finally ride the mountain bike that he got from his Aunty Kim and Uncle Danny for Christmas!!! He was so disappointed when he couldn't ride it because he couldn't reach the ground! Luckily he's taking after his dad height wise, not like his short arse mum! Of course now he has to wait 2 weeks to ride it to school because they are on school holidays now, and the way the weather has been lately he will be lucky to get to ride it very much over those 2 weeks as well! As the nursery rhyme goes "Rain Rain go away, come back another day", (For my sanity as well!!!!)

Spencer

Spen has been home for three days now, doesn't he look sad? Granted this was taken on Monday, and he's feeling a lot better today. He wants to go back to school tomorrow we'll see how we go. He's had tonsillitis a few times over the last year and our Dr, the lovely Dr Hanna, said this is the worst bout yet. If he gets it again in the next 2-3 weeks we think they may be taking them out, which as you can imagine has terrified Spencer, until I told him you get ice cream in hospital after they take them out and then he won't need to worry about the pain anymore. He's had lots of rest and love, been watching dvd's, playing with Samantha, who thinks it's great having her brother home!!!! Oh and can you believe it they start school holidays next week!!!!!!

It's A Miracle!!!!

Just a quick addition today.

A miracle has happend..... I actually did a cross-stitch!!! I cant remember the last time I did one!!!!! How bad is that! My mum included a few little kits in the parcel to Samantha I mentioned in previous blog and I finished this one in about 3 days! Granted it's not a big one, but hey I have to ease myself into it again, don't want to burn out the brain cells to much do I.

I had better go now, Spencer is home from school and we are going to the Dr's soon, suspected tonsillitis, for about the 7th time in the last year!!

Monday saw a parcel arrive for Samantha from my wonderful mother in New Zealand. In it were clothes including this gorgeous pink jumper that my clever mum made.....

Monday was a big day for us here, if Samantha had gone full term it would have been her due date, it was David's brother Andrew's birthday (better not say how old he is), and my mum and dad celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary 42 YEARS!!!! What an inspiration!!!! I love you both so very much and am very lucky to have you as my parents. As a tribute to my mum I have added this bunch of pansies, my mums fav flower...

This post is dedicated to my mother and father who raised 5 kids who I think are well behaved and well adjusted and who love their parents very much.

Hi again.


Life can be so damn frustrating sometimes!!!! Just when you think things are going ok and life is good things stuff up!!! For some odd reason I have been really cranky and moody the last few days (before you think it let me just say NO IM NOT PREGNANT!!) which is making everyone's life hell because I keep snapping at everyone. I dont mean to and I hate doing it!!! The lack of sleep, Samantha is teething,OH THE JOY, may have a little to do with it I guess, but it just makes life really frustrating when no one is happy and it's my fault. But I have given myself a kick up the jacksy and am trying to be positive and happy. The suprise phone call my sister today probably helped, I havent seen her in nearly 2years and miss her so very much. Thanks for cheering me up sis, and you didnt even know you were doing it did you? I love you heaps xxx

This photo of Samantha always makes me smile so hopefully if anyone is feeling a little down this will bring a smile to your face...it was taken on her first birthday last month. She LOVES this little car!!! It has flashing lights and music (that drives her dad nuts) she climbs in the basket at the front which is so funny.

Hello World!!!

Hello World!!! This is my blog. My sister Diane (hi sis) started one of these, her friend Susan (hi Susan) has one and encouraged her to do one. It's taken me a while to pluck up the courage to do
this, mainly because my life aint that exciting!!! But I know
my sister will read it so i'll have at least one fan.

This is me (bad photo, but then i think all photos of me are!!) and my fiance David.

Between us we have three kids Celeste 11, Spencer 10 and

Samantha 1. All very good looking i know. Celeste is David's

daughter from a previous relationship, Spen is mine from

previous relationship and Samantha is ours.

I cant promise I will have stimulating blogs but my life is full of love an laughter and rough times like everyone elses so I should have the odd interesting thing to write.
